Review

The Eldritch World is a place redolent of the quality of strangeness and wonder with a seeming immunity to the passing of time; a place where there is no separation of humans and animals, and humans have the power of understanding the language of birds and beasts. The land where we experience an eagerness or longing for lost things, where every word has a series of archaic and half-forgotten meanings. We have gained entry to the catch-land of existence that some call Elfland. Some reach this land by the third road that is neither the strait & narrow, nor the Road to Hell, but that nigh-imperceptible path that winds across the ferny brae.

Here, we shall walk the trackways of the mythological landscapes where we may encounter the malign and beneficent, the archaic and the arcane, the masked and the spectral, the formless, faceless, and nameless. We shall visit the Weird Lady of the Woods, hide with King Charles in the Royal Oak, and frequent the crossroads under the raven wings of night. Dare you take the first step on a journey from which there may be no return?
